Here im going to try and conect my old tumblr blog up and start posing what im up/what i like etc.
Don’t Realy know how much i can say at this point, but it has been a bit of a stop start beginning to this project and I think were really rolling now. This was just a little animation test but i liked it so much i felt i had to share it.
Obviously loads of inspiration on look from this guys amazing work: Tim Reynolds, the animation was inspired by this here ,and music off Eels new album, I think that covers all bases now, I just hope you like it!
So, after finishing my previous project for the Evolution 2 Motorsport team I’ve been contracted to produce an other video under similar guide lines, for their other product. A Ferrari 458, road performance upgrade kit. I mean what could I say? (apart from “YES!”). So, anyway, I’ve gone for a bit of a different style on this one but I’m really happy with it so far. This is a work in progress at the moment but I have a little teaser for y’all up above and I’ll do my best to update to the final when it’s done in the next week or so.
And again, me wrangling this project in is all down to the good guys at The Hive Business Network. Big thanks goes out to them for their flexibility and faith in me!
This is my edit of a project I have been working on, on and off, for the last few months, I have cup the voice over short and sped up the construction of the car to speed the whole thing up, and i put some fun music on it just because.
I took a base model of the car are re-jigged/ started from scratch modelling on all the parts that come on to the car (as well as the wheels) this was a seriously labor intensive project, trying to make sure all the parts fit together correctly (and look nice) was a real painstaking task! To add to this the Kit was still being tweaked and designed during production and inevitably revisions had to be made along the way. But its done, it’s been handed over to the client, I’m happy with it, but more importantly the client is very happy with it!
I hope you like it also!
So, I interviewed for an internship at a studio up in London a few weeks back, and as part of the interview I had to make an ident on myself.
THIS IS THAT IDENT (said in deep cinematic voice).
To produce a 5-10 second long ident based around your name.
Delivery – 2 days
Ideally the ident would in some way reflect your personality, attitude and general
life aesthetic but first and foremost it needs to represent a clear demonstration
of your talents both from a conceptual and technical point of view.
So I made it in C4D and I’m happy with the outcome. Now unfortunately I didn’t get the job but I do still have this little piece.
A little bit of fun on a side project for a saturday morning.
My third year graduation film from UCA Farnham. A chameleon’s quest to find food regardless of situation and circumstance.
A short piece created for bluedotworld.com
A draft for my entry into the Red Bull Canimation competition, inspired by a Greyscale Gorilla tutorial.
My entry for the E4 TV ident competition.
